What is a Large-Format LCD Monitor? Has does it differ from a LCD monitor with high resolution?

While two monitors are 30 inches, one is a large format LCD with lower resolution and more expensive, and the other is a monitor with higher resolution but costs less. Please explain what does “large format” mean.
