This is so domestic of me, but I wash mine in cold water on the delicate cycle with Woolite and haven’t had a problem with fading, shrinking, or anything. Oxyclean takes out the mustard stains, BTW.

I have several authentic jerseys and never take them to the dry cleaner. I was them inside out on the delicate cycle in cold water with regular detergent. When done washing I hang dry them. I found the trick is to let them hang dry instead of putting them in a tumble dryer.

The dry cleaners i took my kobe bryant jersey to stole it, so i would say no, not unless you know the person who runs the shop.

I guess it depends on how superstitious you are. Did the dirty jersey bring you or your team(s) good luck? If not, maybe you should get it cleaned. If so, you might wash out the luck left in it and your team will lose and lose.
Who knows, that might actually work….

I hear you! I keep mine in plastic to keep dust and other things of it! But my advice is follow the directions on the tag to the letter!

With mine I wash them in cold water and let them hang dry and they are just fine. Washing them in cold water will keep them from fading, avoid the dryer though it will cause fading and shrinks the stitching on the jerseys.
You can throw them in the dryer on the fluff/no heat cycle to get wrinkles out.
If you are that worried about it you can take it to be cleaned but your going to be paying for something you can easily do at home.

I was scared just like you when I got my authentic jersey to get clean but after they did it it was the clean and noting else happened.

Look on the washing instructions. My husband’s jersey specifically states NOT to dry clean it. I washed it on gentle, let it air dry & it came out just fine.
