Question by NoLiMiTs: How should I wash an nfl authentic jersey?
I received an authentic jersey and when I washed in in the washer and the drying machine it did not come out well. What is another way to wash it? Can I take it to the dry cleaners or hand wash it? How could i remove some tiny creases?

You shouldn’t. But if you insist on washing it then you put it in a bucket of water and gently bring it in and out. Then hang it on a clothes-line and leave it there.

Well, I wash mine in a regular washing machine but I guess you should take it to the dry cleaners, and don’t put it in the dryer…. because it tares it up.

You should hand wash it with cold water using tide cold water it works great, for problem spots you can use a soft bristle tooth brush and scrub gently. Hang dry it, never machine dry jerseys and if you must, then tumble dry with no heat. as for the creases lay it entirely flat between two flat objects for a long period then the only creases will be similar to those of a brand new shirt.

If it’s a jersey that you really care about you should wash it by hand and hang it to dry. This will prevent getting bend creases in the numbers.

If it’s authentic, it’s the same jersey the players wear. Those are washed in an industrial washing machine. If yours can’t take the washing machine, you don’t have an authentic jersey. You were ripped off.
