I’ve had the privelege of having the author be my professor at UMDNJ. Knowing Dr. Fadem personally, I can see the kind of care she puts into teaching students. It is with this same care that this book is written. This book is a great review of the material and is very useful for the Behavioral Science shelf exam (and Step 1 review)

This is really the book of all behavioral science books. The questions inside are kind of on the lame side, as are most BRS series questions since they don’t really look like the USMLE format. But, the content is brilliant, concise and understandable, even if you didn’t understand all the biostats the first time you were taught it. You can go through all of this material in about a day during board review and pick up easy points on the test.

This book was a great outline to guide my studies. It made points clear and emphasized the important concepts. I used it as the main book for my behavioral medicine course and plan to use it for board review. I would recommend this to any student.
